From Hartford: Take I-84 east from Hartford. On bridge over Connecticut River, get in second lane from right, and follow signs onto Rt. 2 east (toward Norwich). After appr. 30 miles, take right fork onto Rt. 11 toward New London. At end of Rt. 11, go left on Rt. 82 for less than one mile to Rt. 85 (stop light). Go right on Rt. 85 and continue for 11 miles, then follow signs to I-95 north. Continue with directions below for I-95.

From I-95 and points south: Take I-95 north to Exit 89 (Allyn St.). At bottom of exit ramp, go right on Allyn St. Follow Allyn St. 1.1 miles, past blinker, to first stop light (Rt. 1). Go left on Rt. 1 and continue down hill for 1/4 mile, through intersection with Rt. 215 (Water St. - Fleet Bank will be on your left). Continue over the drawbridge. Take 1st right after drawbridge onto Cottrell St. (Mystical Toys is on the corner). The CAIS office is the 1st building after the Mystic River Park on the right. Enter using the ramp on the side door next to the park and the office is the first door on the left. Parking is on the street or in the parking lot just past the building.
