Advocacy

CAIS membership includes intentional, professionally coordinated advocacy by CAIS on behalf of independent schools at a state level, and when necessary, with national organizations to advocate on a national level. CAIS retains Capitol Consulting to connect with state legislators, state departments and agencies, and the governor’s office. CAIS team members also attend national conferences and invite national professionals to connect to CAIS and bring these experiences to the association membership. We encourage all member schools to be in regular contact with their state representatives to build relationships that support the school and the collective CAIS membership.
