Through its collaboration with the five CAIS commissions and the Tech Advisory Committee, CAIS generates professional learning opportunities for CAIS member school educators, ranging from a three-day conference in November to virtual programs and series, to single day programs hosted by member schools. A complete list of these, along with details and online registration, can be found in our Calendar of CAIS Events.
Program offerings are informed through regular conversation with CAIS commissioners, the CAIS board of trustees, other regional and state association professional learning directors, and CAIS member school educators, whether via CAIS team visits to member school campuses, virtual roundtable discussions, or conversations with individual educators who share a need or interest in a particular topic.
We welcome workshop proposals: CAIS programs provide an opportunity to uplift the work happening within CAIS schools and beyond. We welcome workshop proposals from CAIS educators and our sustaining partners. Presenting to fellow educators can be an important and energizing way to grow your own practice and experience. Proposals will be reviewed as they are submitted with consideration about where and when the session might fit into the CAIS programming calendar. While not all proposals will be presented, we appreciate connecting with all CAIS educators and will consider all appropriate proposals. Educators and school leaders, please submit ideas/proposals here. Sustaining partners, please submit ideas/proposals here.
